Survivorship bias preconditions the present for historical traditions and sub-cultures[1] imbued with evolutionary mechanisms[2]. By virtue of their survival, today's praxes have shown an intrinsic understanding of the importance of progression and evolution; at various levels of formalization each praxis independently may have determined to modernize by adjusting their offerings to align with changes in contemporary preference. All living art require an evolutionary mechanism to remain alive.
